What God began to do last week has continued through the lives of our 8th grade missionaries this week. Today, our students were welcomed to Adelaide Primary School with open arms. This school is well off the beaten path on the island, so few come by to minister there. The CCA student found out today why this place is always one of my favorite stops in the Bahamas. The Principal, Mr. Dean, always greets us with a smile and thanks us for remembering his school. We were equally blessed by his staff and students as they allowed our students to spend time with them.
From Adelaide, we went to two different children's homes to do work projects and to love on children that do not always receive the love they need. Our students painted, pulled carpet up, and cut grass. When it was time to leave, our students did not want to go. They were also willing give up their time at the beach to come back tomorrow. These precious children had great impact on our students.
Tonight was feast of nations, which is an illustration of how most of the world lives and eats each day. Our time ended as we gathered around the campfire to discuss how God may be calling us to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of the world. After our time was over, several students lingered around the fire praying and weeping before the Lord. As we waited there, more and more students returned to the fire to pray and have student led worship. The Lord touched many hearts tonight and I am certain he is not done yet.
Tomorrow is a morning at Straw Market and an afternoon at the beach for a well deserved rest. Please pray as we have our last time around the fire tomorrow night.
Serving Him together,
Michael

Unbelieveable, what an awesome work ALL of you are doing. I am so honored that my husband and daughter got to be a part of this. Please let Btrittany and my hubby know I still miss them like crazy and can't wait to see them. Everyone be safe and healthy.
Thank you CCA, Mr. Ellis, Mr.Fanning, Shawn, parents and high school volunteers for giving our 8th graders an opportunity of a lifetime. May the impact of this mission trip be with our students not only for a day or week but become the seed that will allow them to become true disciples of Christ. May God continue to bless you all and those in need in the Bahamas with His presence, guidance, abundant love, protection, comfort and favor. Matt, we miss you so very much. The house is quiet and in need of your beautiful smile and craziness. We love you. Love, Mom and Dad.
No dry eyes here! Sounds like hearts were pierced and lives changed!
I am deeply moved that my daughter was chosen for such a time as this!
Enjoy the camp fire tonight!
And have a safe trip home guys!
I cannot wait to wrap my arms around my girl!
Mel's grateful Mom!
Thank you so much for sharing these updates. It is so good to read how God is answering our prayers for the students' work there. As I read about the students praying and weeping to the Lord around the fire, I started weeping and praising Him for His work in their lives!
This week I read in a devotional, "Stand back and watch the Lord manage your mess into a glorious outcome." It made me think of Proverbs 16:3 Commit your work to the Lord and THEN your plans will succeed. (NLT) Whatever small offering of work we give to Him, He manages into a beautiful and glorious outcome.
Please send Caleb and Dina Coffin my love. I'm lifting you all up in prayer daily!
God is so faithful and His love has no boundaries. . .
Thanks to all the leaders and students for giving these children a the hope in Christ Jesus.
Jacob, we are so blessed to have CCA as our school and the way they strive to make the world a better place in the name of Jesus.
See ya tomorrow night.
We miss you Evan!
Hope you and your classmates come back with a closer walk with the Lord.

"Though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved" 2 Corin. 12:15
The ecclestial idea of a servant of God is not Jesus Christ's idea. His idea is that we serve Him by being servants of other men. He says that in His Kingdom, he that is greatest shall be the servant of all.
The real test of a saint is not preaching the gospel, but washing disciples feet, that is, doing the things that do not count in the actual estimate of God.
Paul delighted to spend himself out for God's interests in other people, and he did not care what it cost.
No one proclaims the gospel merely, but one who becomes broken bread and poured out wine in the hands of Jesus Christ for other's lives.
