Dear CCA 8th Grade Parents / Students
We are most excited that we can offer a spiritual opportunity for your 8th Grade student to share God's love and His heart for the poor, the lost, the orphaned, the lesser of the saints, in the Bahamas. As a school, we will continue to invest in the mission of reaching the Bahamians through our annual 8th Gr. Mission Trip, Summer Diakonos Program, Patmos, and of course through our missionaries at The ALC (Adventure Learning Centre).
This trip will certainly stretch, test and refine your student's faith and worldview. We look forward to partnering with Pastor Chet's team at The ALC once again. Kindly follow this mission trip blog at least once a week, to get updated with the registrations, travel plans, training, itineraries, and fundraisers we will be doing as a class.
Mr Ellis, the overseer and leader of this mission trip, is also looking for able Parent Volunteers to help out with simple bookkeeping, updating excel worksheets, creating and planning fundraisers, communicating with other 8th Gr. Parents through emails or phone calls, etc. Please write Mr Michael Ellis at michaele@ccaeagles.org if you are able to volunteer a few hours of your time a week. Please do not send any monies with your student to their bible class, we are encouraging you and your donors to make a payment or donation online. The registration, payment, and donation links will be posted here and at http://ccaeagles.org/academy/missions.cfm as soon as they are approved.
